Understanding How My Investment Works

  • 6. What back up investment instrument does Realvest adopt?

    The proceeds of the total investment package shall be invested in developing iLand Properties Estate (visit www.ilandproperties.com) owned by Pertinence Limited.

  • 7. What is the minimum and maximum unit of investment?

    The minimum unit of investment is one (1) valued at N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira). There is no maximum limit to the number of units that may be subscribed to by an individual investor. However, note that units are limited.

  • 8. What’s the Duration of the Investment?

    The duration of the investment is for either 12 months or 18 months.

  • 9. How do I know about pay out date?

    Your pay out day shall be on the 18th month or 12th month anniversary of the day you activated your investment plan. i.e. if you activated your investment on the 5th of November 2020, your pay out day will be 5th of May 2022. We will send you notices a month, a week and a day before your pay out day via all communication channels (emails, text and phone call).

  • 10. When will I get my interest?

    Your principal investment sum plus accrued interest shall be paid at the end of the investment duration (12 months or 18 months).

  • 11. How do I get paid when the investment ends?

    Your RealVest account will be credited with both your principal and accrued interest (subject to applicable laws) at the end of the investment period. You can then proceed to your RealVest wallet and click on the claims icon. The funds shall then be transferred into your preferred commercial bank account in less than 4 minutes (note: time may differ depending on banks networks and digital infrastructure).

  • 12. Is it possible to terminate my investment earlier than the agreed timeframe?

    Yes, it is possible. Termination however attracts an administrative charge of 25% on the invested sum. Early termination also disallows you from earning the accrued interest.

  • 13. How secure is my information?

    All your details are secured by our payment processing partners, Paystack (Largest payment processing platform in West Africa).

  • 14. How do I get update?

    Consistent updates will be made available on your account on the website, or on the mobile app and/or via mails and text. We shall keep you abreast every step of the journey.

  • 15. How secured is my investment?

    The investment is guaranteed and unaffected by any event that might constitute Force Majeure such as natural disasters, hostilities, civil disturbances, riot, fire, or flood as the investment is backed up by land i.e. iLand Properties Estate.

About Referral

  • 16. How do I earn from referral?

    First, you need to register as a referral on realvest.ng. Upon completion of your registration on the system, a referral link will be generated for you. You can then share your unique referral link with prospective investors in your network and on social media.

    Once your referral link or phone number is used by an investor at the point of activating an investment, you get 3.5% commission of every unit of investment made i.e. if the investor you referred invests N500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) (10 units) you will earn N17,500.00 (Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Naira) in commission.

  • 17. How do I get paid as a referral?

    Your wallet shall be credited each time your referral activates any unit of investment. You can then proceed to your wallet and make withdrawals. The fund gets transferred into your preferred commercial bank account in less than 4 minutes (note: time may differ depending on your bank's network and digital infrastructure).

  • 24. What is the minimum and maximum unit to be subscribed?

    The minimum number of housing units to subscribe to is 1 but there is no maximum limit to the number of units that may be subscribed by an individual investor. However, note that units are limited.

  • 25. What is the duration of the investment?

    We have an 84 month duration plan on all units but clients can pay at their pace or as they will within the 84 months period. the first 60 months payments is for your house while the remaining 24 months payment takes care of developmental and documentation fees.

  • 26. Will Homevest be incorporated into the Realvest platform?

    Homevest is a product of Realvest. Realvest will always unveil real estate opportunities to service the needs of people. You can always watch out for more opportunities coming up.

  • 27. What locations are available for Home Ownership?

  • 28. How is default charge calculated?

    A client is charged on default when he has not fulfilled his obligation towards the monthly instalment for 3 months consecutively. It is calculated as 20% of his expected monthly installment.

    For example, if a client is expected to pay N50,000 monthly for his HomeVest plan and begins payment in January, and does not keep up with his agreement for the next 3 months, by May an additional N10,000 will be added to his monthly installment.

  • 29. Is it possible to terminate my investment earlier than the agreed timeframe?

    Yes, it is possible. Termination however attracts an administrative charge of 40% on the amount paid so far as at point of termination.

  • 30. Does the company give room for transfer of ownership of an existing payment plan?

    Yes, a client can transfer ownership of an ongoing payment plan or completed plan of any of the HomeVest products. All that needs to be done is to carry the company along and give a one month notice to ensure proper documentation is done. This however attracts an administrative charge of 10% of total cost of property.

About Referrals

  • 33. Will all the prospects that registered using the Realvest link need to re-register for the Homevest?

    No, the registration on the Realvest platform is all that’s needed to enjoy the benefit of Homevest.

  • 34. How does the system capture my referrals please?

    As soon as anyone registers using your referral link, you’ll get an email notification and the details of your new referral will reflect on “referrals” on your dashboard.

  • 35. How do I earn from referral?

    First, you need to register as a referral on realvest.ng or using the referral link of whoever referred you. Upon completion of your registration on the system, a referral link will be generated for you. You can then share your unique referral link with prospective investors in your network and on social media.

    Once your referral link or phone number is used by an investor at the point of activating an investment, you get 5% commission of the amount paid by your referral. i.e. if the investor you referred makes a payment of N500,000.00(Five Hundred Thousand Naira), you will earn N25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) in commission.

  • 36. How do I get paid as a referral?

    Your wallet shall be credited each time your referral activates any unit of investment. You can then proceed to your wallet and make withdrawals. The fund gets transferred into your preferred commercial bank account in less than 4 minutes (note: time may differ depending on your bank's network and digital infrastructure).

  • 37. Are the houses ready and available?

    Construction is carried on as payment progresses. Subscription and fulfillment of the monthly payment of the amount due by a client are the factors that determine when the houses will be ready and available.

  • 38. Can one pay half of the total package and move in?

    Yes, a client can pay half of the total package and can move in maximum 12 weeks after payment has been made.

  • 39. If not, when exactly can one move in after down payment?

    After down payment, a person can only move in if our engineers confirm that the house has been built to a point where it is conducive for habitation.
